I decided to label and cap our wine bottles! With the economy and being the wine drinkers we are, we decided it might be more economical to make our own wine. I must say, it turned out much better then I expected. I was pleasantly surprised with the complexity of the bouquet and
how robust some of these were. Very good experience overall, something satisfying about making and bottling your own wine.

Hi there - love your blog so far :-) Where did you bottle and what type of kits did you get?? Thanks!

Thank you Jojo! We made it at The Wine Station on Bank street in Ottawa. The service is amazing there. All the wines we bottled are good, but the one we enjoy the most is the New Zealand Merlot. Ready to drink and we tell people it's "homemade" wine, they can't believe it. They do all the work for you and all you do is show up with your clean empties (they sell them as well) and bottle your wine. A lot of fun! I think they have coupons too you can print on their website. Send me a note if you want more info. lgd1973@gmail.com
Thanks for the info! Merry Christmas to you and your family.
